The show originally centered on five characters living in Pasadena, California: Leonard Hofstadter and Sheldon Cooper, both physicists at Caltech, who share an apartment; Penny, a waitress and aspiring actress who lives across the hall; and Leonard and Sheldon's similarly geeky and socially awkward friends and co-workers, aerospace engineer Howard Wolowitz and astrophysicist Raj Koothrappali. Over time, supporting characters were promoted to starring roles, including neuroscientist Amy Farrah Fowler, microbiologist Bernadette Rostenkowski, experimental physicist Leslie Winkle, and comic book store owner Stuart Bloom.

You can read the storyline above and if not I will give the plot of the show: The lives of four socially awkward friends, Leonard, Sheldon, Howard, and Raj, take a wild turn when they meet the beautiful and free-spirited Penny and they spend their lives comically.
This is a sitcom series and the comedy is of high level. The USP of the show is Howard and Sheldon. Howard is the funniest and Sheldon is the craziest in the show. Sheldon makes fun of Howard's qualification as he is only a mechanical engineer and also the rest members have a Ph.D. degree. They all worked at Caltech University. The main highlight of the show for Indians is that there is a role named Raj who was played by Kunal Nayyar. American touch with little bit Indians masala is like a package to watch.
The entire cast was great and they all roled very perfectly. Sheldon had only interest in his qualification means he cracks his own formulas as he was a physicist. He has no interest in the outer world, his roommate Leonard feels very stressed as it is very difficult to live with him. When he started living with him he had difficulties to live but later he made. Sheldon was famous for his weird and annoying things in their apartments and university, In-fact he made a schedule 'How he spent a day' means he has a schedule of what dish he wants to eat and he fixed the day, one of the things is that on Thursday he eats pizza and on Wednesday he visits a comic book store.
This entire blog is less for the review of this show. As the show has many highlighted and only positive reviews. In fact, there are many recurring roles of famous personalities like Stephen Hawking, Star Trek's cast members, and many more. They all have an interest in comic con.
